Sitting in my empty room
All alone in my chair
A million stories I can tell
Sadly no one cares

Looking out my window
Watching the children play
I’m stuck inside these four walls
I got no where else to stay

All the children have grown
They never come visit me
They think I’m well taken care of
But clearly their eyes do not see

Looking at the broken mirror
I don’t recognize that face

As they plan my resting place

As the world passes me by

All the babies have grown
But they never come visit me
