BADSTONEMUSIC
https://youtu.be/AtXsx5bl4uIhttp://www.meridiancounty.com/index.html#msg-box8-1jI was involved in several bands in my teens and 20s, primarily as a writer and engineer of sorts (with some drums and some guitar - tho never really good at the latter, or to a bit, either). The true garage band experience I guess you would say.
(I like to think I've cleaned up some of my shitty musical behaviours since the icomp years but I am a bit of a dummy, and I go where the music takes me.)
It wasn't until 2006 when I dusted off my synthesizers again after years of neglect and decided to try out Garageband for the first time, that I finally decided to start writing again. Here, now, I'm older, and more in love with creating music than ever before. Multiple DAWs, keys and strings and some history with engineering.
I've been lucky to meet some great people over the years who are gifted musicians; some from this original community. They've taught me a lot; inspiring me to move forward, and f**k around with new things with my music.

So glad to find out this is happening again!
I found icompositions.com around 2006-07, after indie411-cali folded
Tried to stay with it even to the last days of the post icomp website
Hats off to Becwil and Rick? for the huge effort
me:
garage band teenager
shitty but passable drummer
decent synth
shoe gazer rhythm
re-learning bass
always writing
producing and engineering
trying to flip my music to vids
Had the pleasure of collaborating with a handful of the OG icompers back in the day
Recognizing some names as I peruse
