Lyrics
Excuse Me Mister Jesus
© July 6, 2024 Stan Loh
Verse 1
Excuse me, Mister Jesus, excuse me,
Why in your world do they kill in God’s name?
Why send the bombs to the places where they pray?
Well I don’t know why but I’ll listen to what you say,
Verse 2
Excuse me Sage Mohammed, excuse me,
Why children starve and cry incessantly?
Why won’t you crush those who try to betray…you?
Well I don’t know why but I’ll listen to what you say,
Bridge
But the kings that were crowned,
They lavish in their gowns,
For their benefit and their wealth,
They go on robbing the poor,
Drive their lives down a sewer,
And they take away even their health.
Verse 3
Oh excuse me, Holy Buddha, excuse me,
What good is power if they sleep so restlessly?
Why must they cover guilt everyday?
Well I don’t know why but I’ll listen to what you say.

Music 🎶 and vocals
This can go on to cover even further
The corrupted governments and politicians
Excuse me Mr President ...

I recently heard that a Palestinian man who had just had two children lost his wife and babies to a missile, he will never see them again, they died the day they were born. More songs like this should be played all around the world.

@StanTheManLoh
Humans will use ANY excuse to kill it seems. Even religion. Sigh...
Amazingly, religion is not the problem. During an 80 year period of the 20th century, proportionately more people were killed by SECULARIST Leftist "justice"-seeking regimes than in all the so called religious wars in recorded history. And still it goes on... Seems the best religion can do is throw a little restraint into the process. Without it there is no restraint at all.
This is a beautiful song that asks all the right questions. If people actually FOLLOWED Jesus, the Buddha, and perhaps even Mohammad things would/could be considerably different. It's much easier to BELIEVE in their teachings than to FOLLOW them. A perennial problem...
Thanks for posting this exquisite GEM! Love ya bro...

Really great song Stan,
I enjoy listening to music that makes you think or at least moves you in some way.
I to have questioned why there is so much shame, hate, and death among us ?
Why do we have Good and Evil ? Are we as people so weak and stupid that there cannot be peace, love and harmony among all people regardless of Race, Religion or Country were from? It would be nice if Jesus, Sage Mohamed or Buddha could change it, but I truly believe it has to be the Human Race that finally figures it out on there own. We were created with a brain and a heart. So all could be solved with Logic and Love 💕  When that happens, we may never know the day....

Don't we all, Stan?  Well, I guess not everyone.. An honest expression in lyrics and vocals matched with the sober music..
