This is a classic Christmas song written in 1945 by Robert Wells and Mel Torme. Nat King Cole’s version made it a Classic. This was one of the few songs of that era that really nailed the concept of the goodwill we experience during this Holiday Season. For me it represents a brief moment we all come together to celebrate the possibility of world wide Joy, Peace, Happiness and Goodwill for all humanity on this planet. I agree that Nat King Cole’s version is the Best but I just love the tenor sax recording by the Great Dexter Gordon. I wish you all the very best Joy and Happiness this Holiday Season to you and your loved ones and for it contine all throughout the new year.
