As per your message... Yes, your voice was higher back then. Still very nice, but these days it has a slight dusky quality at times which I really enjoy.

Sax is very interesting.  Very reminiscent of Mayall recording "High Pressure Living", a good thing.  Bravo!

Yes, I think most singers voices drop as they get older… When I listen to Joni Mitchell, she was such a pure soprano, but I actually preferred her voice as she got older, because it had a little more soul to it. I'm gravitating more toward the blues now, because that seems to lend itself toward my lower register.
