This is AWESOME!
There was plenty of white slavery in the past. It's a VERY "inconvenient truth." (Indeed, ALL truth--it seems---is inconvenient for the "woke.")
The origins of slavery run deep into human prehistory and absolutely NO ONE knows exactly where or when it began. (A tough but incontrovertible fact for those scapegoating guilt manipulators.) Indeed, it's still very much alive in some parts of the world, which is sad. But I digress...
Donna and you are a fine writing team. The music has an authentic feel and your vocal delivery is spot on Al.

Europeans were probably more enslaved than any other group in history.. primarily the Slavic people which is where the word "slave" originated.  Adam and Eve probably had a slave and there are still slaves today.  Slavery has always existed.  That doesn't make it ok.  Sometimes people who were so poor they would gladly be a slave in a castle where you got fed, bathed, clothed and housed.  In Ancient Rome slaves could work their way up to be high ranking officers in the empire and then have their own slaves.  I think the enslavement of Africans is more talked about because it's fresh in our memory.
