Song information
This is a song I wrote about the people, I work with and help as my role as an Occupational Therapist.
The people's names are not real, due to confidentially I am not allowed to disclose their names.

Mrs Johnson (the real person I am singing about here) is my favourite, she is a very tough person and I have seen her go from someone who was unable to walk due to a brain injury to being able to join a gym and able to jog on a treadmill.

This song took me a very long time to write with my long time friend Piotr Boleslaw on guitar and bass and on drums is John Stawell and my dear friend Gemma Andersen playing the violin.
I am playing a bit of guitar and singing too. I hope you enjoy this song.

Lyrics
Mrs. Johnson's working hard,
Her progress is off the charts,
Small victories we celebrate,
Her determination's first-rate.

And little Mr. Thompson's gaining strength,
His efforts go to any length,
Adapting tools with clever tricks,
He has independence, now he picks.

And so, Every day brings something new,
The rewards I get, this much is true
Each patient's journey is quite unique,
Their resilience makes me, stop and think

Instrumental part

Young Timmy's here to learn and grow,
Through play, his skills begin to show,
Each game's a chance to improve,
His confidence starts his groove.

And so, Every day brings something new,
The rewards I get, this much is true
Each patient's journey is quite unique,
Their resilience makes me, stop and think

Lovely work all around. If I could offer a suggestion, parts of it could benefit from more bass.... there's a nice bass line here, it could be brought out more at times.

Lovely! The vocal style reminds me somewhat of Lucinda Williams, and the songwriting reminds me a little of Kathleen Edwards, but you have a unique style of your own.

I love the earth instrument singer songwriter troubadore vibe.... and this has a kind of gravity to it, that compells us to pay attention... great post

I love it when a song creates moments that break through from the head to the heart... "makes me stop and think" you masterfully milk that moment to drive it home.. great story telling... and of course you voice sets the trajectory for the whole thing... had to come back around
