Back in June of 2015 BigJimSlade and I collaborated on this one. BJS had worked out some original guitar parts, a couple of different drum patterns and an arrangement for the song. He then sent me what he had so far. I then added some additional guitar elements, a strings motif, a bassline, new drums to make them a bit more rock oriented and then mixed and mastered the final. This was a fun one. I think I recall giving myself just a day or two to do it, but then I remixed the song again in 2023 to give it a bit more punch. Jim mentioned back in 2015 that the song was in the "motorik" style of the German band Neu (a band I'd never heard of at the time), so we decided to call the song "Motorik".
