Well, it may be a bit pretentious to try to compose a symphony, but my love for classical music led me on this path.
So here is the first movement of my first symphony, composed a few years ago and that I never wanted to publish because there were too many imperfections for my taste that I tried to correct.
This first movement is a bit long but it alternates between adagio and allegro passages in order to avoid boredom.
You will tell me what you think...

I think .. that you are brilliant. Wonderful orchestrations. I love the choir. The percussion works really well. Excellent use of brass. Very nice melodic themes. Bravo, Your talent shines
I very much liked the slow, unfolding introduction. I liked the oboe solo! The use choir and voices adds a filmic touch. Nice use of percussion throughout. You do a good job in building that second theme up to a climax. The ending slow music has a LOTR feels to it. Very much liked the ending; it's brooding and then blossoms. Well done, Thierry!
Although i'm in the same situation as @Wyndsok , i always enjoy your "construction skills", your choices and ability to create a complete world in a few minutes. Being ambitious is NOT like being pretentious. Your reach your goal every time and we are lucky, here, to be front row witnesses. So, thank you Thierry !
