RUN SALLY RUN

Intro:
Sally was born with silken red hair and big green eyes;
---skin as fair as the white clouds floating on clear bright summer skies.
Before she reached her flower Sally began to be aware,
of a change in the weather (an encroaching darkness)
in her life's atmosphere.

Now Sally must deal daily with the lies of false friends;
---the stares and glares of young bucks and the sweaty old men.
Will she stand her ground?
Or will she just give in?

She's three times a lady...
a sweet child in time!
They'll be no private dancing here boy,
---not on this girl's dime!

Run Sally run,
get your self outta there!
Fly like a bird,
straight to the arms
 of the One Who really cares...
Yeah!

You know the girl's got plans,
---things she's just gotta do.
Well she'll not be waylaid,
by the likes of you!

Well it's hard sometimes...
and Sally, she cries;
but soon she will fly!
Yeah...

Now Sally she's a good girl.
She's lookin' for a real good man;
to share a life of faith and love.
She's taken a stand,
for a much higher plan!
