I would characterize this as a total sonic feast! So much prog jazz goodness happening simultaneously. I'm going to have to go back and relisten a few times I can appreciate everything. Really really great work!
I enjoyed listening to this, a couple of times. It contained sections where the interaction between the instruments/players were strong an made an organic sounding group effort lift the music like in great improvisational music. This also justifies well it being placed under jazz, though that should not be important. I guess the interaction may be between different selves knowing their fellow selves well. Still difficult to create a good interaction illusion as here. The foreground is constantly pulsating nicely. The timbers mixed nicely. While the majority of the track was musically vey enjoyable, I had some problems appreciating the beginning of the track, first 50 sec. it is of course my fault, but could be an interesting observation for the creator or not.
first 50 seconds is difficult to listen too perhaps but is essential to the story in the piece. It is about the 3rd date, hence the intimate interaction between the soloists.
I wrote this piece and played all the parts. It took me about three hours. It just appeared. Hope that helps.
This is a composition that can only be created by a creative mind who is a master of all his instruments. Only decades of practice and experience can achieve this complex piece. Basically the oppsite of me 😂 congrats on such a unique peice of music.
Well hello. Kinda floats doesn't it? Kinda loose the down beat and the key is solid,but, wanders the key is a center and the form changes off to different colors with each new solo. See I can write my own notes. lol. Thanks for the listen Omar. Your turn.
