Song information
Take Five is of course the well known track by the Dave Brubeck Quartet. Released in 1959 and a hit in 1961. Val Bennett chose to do a Reggae version in 1968 but gave it a different title. The track then gained exposure when it was used as the theme for the British TV series “The Secret Life of Machines” by Tim Hunkin. The original episodes for this series have now been remastered with added postscripts and can be found on YouTube.
This version is based on the Val Bennett version and uses a Trombone lead with some additional Sax and String parts.

This is very cool. Years ago i went to see The Slackers (Brooklyn band) on stage and they played a reggae version of this Brubeck song (with trombone as lead). Loved it then, love it now, by you !!

This is a creative idea. even though I don't like synthetic sounds too much, but this is a good job.

I want to explain myself better so as not to be misunderstood, I like the sound of samplers but when they capture the sound of a real instrument.
but anyway everyone makes music as they like..

@Musicleft Thanks for your comments, I appreciate all your observations. I do have some sample libraries but my workflow is oriented towards using keyboard patches. I do intend to use more realistic samples when time allows.
