This is an old song from my original iComp account. It was inspired by my time hiking in the beautiful open spaces and canyons of Utah's endangered Escalante wilderness. It was created and mixed in Garageband on a vintage Mac back in 2009. The original version was shorter, and mostly acoustic, this remix added a harder edge in the second half. You might hear one familiar old loop from the old Garageband application in the second part. The rest is comprised of a few sampled guitar riffs and midi instruments played via keyboard.
It's got flaws aplenty, but does express the solitude and loneliness I felt being out in that sacred place. Thanks for listening.
