Calypso was sort of a concept name of the song when I started writing it and the name stuck.
The song starts as a plain pop melody. Then takes turns around a small corner with a B section. And then the whole thing builds up to an intermediate section with Spanish mixed with Eastern European folk tones.
And in the last section the song adds further energy and layers until at the end the thing goes quiet and the original theme is played on a piano and acoustic guitar.
There were many working hours behind this song.

Love this , where do I start ? it just grabs me..... This is beautiful and just keeps giving a massive 5* from me and straight into favourites it goes !
I'm glad you used different instruments to take the tune places. The melody and counterpoint are all evident here. Nice to hear your music again Kenneth. Kind regards Paul
' Liking the chord progression .. and harpsicordy runs which are duplicated and followed by flute ., then expanded . it seems there is a taste of Abba's keyboard player .
