Jolted out from our dreaming;
that mean old alarm clock ringing.
We open our eyes and rise to
greet the brand new day.

Distracted yet so serene;
lost in our morning routine.
I catch a glimpse of her soul,
out the corner of my eye.

And just for a moment… a blink!
Coy meaning smiles… hoists her veil up;
and gives an etheric wink 
as she goes floating by.

And bathed in the morning light,
I clearly see all is right.
I find that I’m quite content to watch the days go by…
