Biography » CelticLark
My name is Gemma Anderson. I’m a violinist, singer, and songwriter, and I’ve always loved telling stories through sound. I fell in love with the emotional pull of strings early on - how one sustained note can say what words can’t. That’s shaped the way I write, play, and approach every project.

Over the years, I’ve performed and recorded as a session player for a wide mix of artists, blending classical technique with modern ideas. I’ve used violin and cello across folk ballads, cinematic soundtracks, and experimental electronic tracks. I enjoy adapting to different styles - one day it’s an intimate acoustic performance, the next it’s building layered strings into a dark, atmospheric mix.

These days, I work closely with producer, composer and my husband Piotr Bolesław in his studio, creating everything from delicate chamber-style pieces to bold, cinematic arrangements. Collaboration is where I do my best work. I love the moment when different musical voices meet and a track starts to feel alive.

I’m also part of the Mojca Czarka Trio, and we collaborate online.

I hope you enjoy exploring my growing catalogue of music.
