My name is Gemma Anderson and I’m a violinist, singer, and songwriter with a lifelong love for storytelling through sound. From a young age, I found myself drawn to the emotional power of strings — how a single sustained note could carry a feeling words couldn’t reach. That connection has guided every step of my musical journey.
Over the years, I’ve performed and recorded as a session player for a diverse range of artists, blending classical technique with modern creativity. My violin and cello have found their way into folk ballads, cinematic soundtracks, and experimental electronic works. I love the challenge of adapting to different styles — one day playing an intimate acoustic set, the next layering strings over a dark, atmospheric mix.
I currently work alongside producer and composer Piotr Bolesław in his studio, where we craft everything from delicate chamber pieces to bold, cinematic arrangements. Collaboration is where I thrive; I believe music becomes truly alive when shared — when each artist brings their own story to the soundscape.
I am also in a band called the Mojca Czarka Trio. (online collaboration nowadays).
I hope you will enjoy my growing list of music.
