Biography » BeekeeperPiotr
Hi, I’m Piotr Bolesław, an audio engineer and multi-instrumentalist originally from Germany. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and over the years, I’ve had the chance to explore it from both sides of the glass—playing instruments and working behind the scenes as a mixer and mastering engineer.

I play guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums—basically, if it makes a sound, I’ll figure out how to play it. For mixing and mastering, I’m all about ProTools—that’s where I bring everything together and really shape the final sound.

These days, I live in beautiful New Zealand with my wife, Gemma, who’s also a multi-instrumentalist. We share a love for music and often bounce ideas off each other, which keeps things creative and fun.

Over the years, I’ve been lucky to collaborate with some fantastic artists. One of the highlights for me was working with Jon Stevens from Noiseworks on their album Evolution. Getting to contribute to a project with such a well-respected artist was a real privilege.

I was also part of a folk trio here in New Zealand, led by Mojca Czarka. We played together for several years before she moved back to Germany—funny enough, to the exact town where I was born! Even with the distance, we’ve kept the project going online, because when the music’s good, you find a way.

Music has taken me on quite a journey, and I’m always up for the next collaboration or project that comes my way.
