Reggae is a tough genre to tackle! I'm enjoying this a lot! You harnessed the island feel in both the lyrics and the production. The chorus is especially light and endearing! Very nice!! :)

Man, this checks all the boxes: production and creativity, lyrics and vocals and I would say you've mastered the genre. New Age Reggae, perhaps! Very enjoyable listen, Dr. Must replay!

I've never written a Reggae song before...would love to try one day! I love the beat! I've been told I write Island-like tunes, maybe I will succeed one day! Any with a drum track I would love to have it!

I wanted to write a reggae song...found some yt videos on how to get the real reggae guitar rhythm and the palming to give it that freshly smoked influence. It's not as easy as it looks. You made it look easy here Doc!

That’s the way you write and produce a tune… love the lyrics(1st place I tend to look) I love how your idea is so strongly built on just a few lines(each verse)… such an economy of words… smart stuff… your singing is spot on as well as your production quality… I smirked at that little chord at the very end… had to go back and listen again and ponder it’s meaning… open to interpretation

This is a great song. The sound is great. I like the way you move between the reggae verses and the pop chorus. It gives a nice variation. Great vocal. Great work with the bass. The bass is one of the key elements that defined reggae

Ooh... wonderful tune Doc! I really like the lead vocal, and the harmonies. Such a nice vibe in the whole tune. Poignant lyrics. The middle section really works. I feel like I should be holding a Red Stripe at sunset. Reggae is tough indeed, you nailed it. And... great bass.

Great stuff, this is what I would call International Reggae - as played by groups such as The Police, 10cc, Men At Work and UB40. A bit lighter and more bouncy than Roots Rock Reggae. As you say Reggae is tough.
