I really like it. The mood/style of this reminds of the music on the album "Algiers" by Calexico. Have you heard of them?

Dyl doesn't know it but he's an international, specifically French superstar. He can pick up any instrument, kitchen utensil, even a semi ripe avocado and stop time. Even though this particular tune doesn't contain his smooth as silky gravel voice, I lost time.

Hey, Dyl! Yeah, that does sound like a film noir track maybe? Lots of stuff packed in there… It’s good to “see” you again!

One hundred percent *mood* song. I felt transported. To where? I don't know, but it was foreign territory, and I didn't mind the trip at all.

The music and the vibes created take me so many places around the world. Could be from a Bond movie, made by Tarantino, with some sort of mischief or murder in the background going on. One great listen!

Hi Dyl. I like the feel of this and the melodic content really works for me. The "Black Books" reference earlier in the comments is certainly accurate, and this piece would suit a lot of recent TV shows from UK, France and Australia. The repetitive drum loop grates a little, but it suits the style. I'm looking forward to hearing more of your music here. Cheers from Oz, Neil

I really like this piece. I like the chords. I like the marimba, the rusty guitar, the tonewheel organ. Nice tune. Cool piece

The beginning could be in a Robert Rodríguez and Tarantino movie. That sound is yours, my friend, with all your Latin roots.
